Some of ya’ll have mental health issues and don’t even know it.

You think your nasty attitude, angry outbursts, and constant irritation is “just your personality” – naaaaaa, you need help.

No one should be angry, depressed, and/or irritated- EVERY DAY, ALL DAY. IF YOU ARE – you need mental health assistance, and there’s nothing wrong with admitting that.

OH yea – emotional eating is a sign of a problem. You’re eating to “feel” something – that’s unhealthy and could be a sign of depression or another emotional issue you need to deal with.

Everything I mentioned are things I once did and I would claim, “it’s just me” until several doctors helped me understand it was, in fact, a mental health issue. Once I knew (well, not immediately, I used it as a crunch for a while) I developed coping skills and altered my life to meet my mental health needs (it’s one reason I don’t socialize much) and life was better because I WAS BETTER (mentally/emotionally).

Not to mention, many people suffer physically due to emotional/mental conditions and don’t understand why. The correlation of illness and poor mental/emotional health is well documented within the medical community.

Own your issues – only then can you heal them (or learn how to cope/avoid or minimize triggers if your mental health issue is ongoing i.e. bipolar disorder, anxiety, adult ADHD, depression, unresolved anger, PCOS (because PCOS affects mental health etc). Heal your mind and it will help you take better care of your body.
