Worship your way into joy!

Anybody feeling depressed, discouraged, hopeless…..you woke up feeling some kinda way for no reason at all….the enemy filling your mind with all the “wrongs”   people have done [or you think they’ve done]….the enemy wants to steal your peace, steal your joy, steal your closeness and trust in/with God! Counter the attack of the enemy with His Word, speak back to the enemy JUST LIKE CHRIST DID – with the word of God! We don’t have the power to overcome the enemy in our own strength – but with God we can conquer ALL – we can even tame the flesh that torments us to sin!

I woke up this morning feeling discouraged for NO REASON AT ALL and I went into prayer and still felt it….then, I went into worship and praise and that spirit of burden, depression, anger, blame – left, I mean it LEFT immediately! It couldn’t stand in the presence of God – and when you worship, when you praise, when you pray in His Spirit fervently, with passion in sincerity and you speak the truth of His Word to that lying sleaze of a devil – the devil will flee and there you will find God’s peace!!

Press Play – this is a beautiful song of praise.

So often we get caught up in the traps of the enemy because we don’t recognize how he works. We look for the “big attacks” and fail to see how he sneaks in the smaller attacks that mess with your attitude, your faith, the way you treat and love others….. we must be vigilant. The enemy isn’t dumb but we are often dumb to his schemes and he knows this. Time out for milk!!! God is calling us to maturity – study His word! Know the enemy and know God’s word so when the enemy comes, you can counter him through the Word of God, prayer, worship and praise – he can’t STAND that! Pray for me as I you!

Psalm 100:1-5 – Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
